Fall Festival in Salisbury, CT

While the hills are turning to shades of crimson and golden hues, Salisbury village turns its attention to the annual Fall Festival Weekend on Oct. 9-11, 2015 (

Delightful scarecrows adorn many doorways; always a keen competition for the best, funniest, most original in various categories. Stroll along the street for a pleasant visit and enjoy the fun.

Memorable events like blueberry pancakes from breakfast time through lunch at St. John's, or hot dogs on the green. A quilt show, tag sales, home made goodies, SVNA providing healthy apples, and the venerable Salisbury Association Historical Society open all day with a historic photographic exhibit and the recently installed cannon from the Revolutionary War.

The Housatonic Valley Regional High School Robotics Team will feature a bake sale and demonstration of student-built robots. Check the Fall Festival website ( for times and locations.
